About Us

Building the future

Founded in 2006 in Connecticut, Regatta Dock Systems has quickly become the leader in the dock systems market. With many years of experience, we can help you take advantage of what your waterfront has to offer and maximize the efficient dock use.

Tell us exactly what you are planning to use the dock for, what kind of boats will be docked, and if you are planning to use the dock for fishing, sunbathing, or diving into the water to swim. We will then walk you through the process and help you find the dock that is best suited for you!

Our Dock Systems

With any dock system designed by Regatta Dock, you are assured of the quality and time that is put into each dock construction. Every bolt is fit to match perfectly and each section is lined up for perfection. Our team of installers is qualified in both installing and removing docks.

Our Team

Mike Lauretano bought his dock business in 2004 when he purchased the property known as Heron Pointe. The business sold Connect-a-Docks and fabric style shelter tents in Litchfield county. Thru the years Mike saw the need to expand the territory and product line to accommodate client needs on various waterways throughout New England. Additional brands of dock, boat lifts, gangways, and PWC Ports have been added. Matt came on board in 2015 and run the company’s operations.

MIKE LAURETANO

FOUNDER

Mike has been on Bantam Lake since 1958 and grew up with boats, docks, and New England lake living. He and his wife Diane raised their 4 children on the lake and enjoyed endless summers of boating and skiing. With the lake living came the responsibility of installing and caring for docks. In 2005 Mike and Diane bought a lakefront property that came with a dock business which they grew to what is now today a leading dock brand in the northeast.

His youth was spent water skiing in the summer and snow skiing all winter…and helping dad with the docks. Matt now lives in Litchfield with his wife Kate and daughter Ella. They are expecting a son soon.

Gangways

Custom made gangways to make the transition from the water to your dock as comfortable as it can be. Alumadock gangways are made out of 2″ x 2″ x 1/8″ and 2″ x 4″ x 1/8″ aluminum tubing constructed 16″ on center. This surpasses any competitive gangway in the country in all aspects. A Standard size is 4′ x 20′, but custom sizes can be made. Alumadock structurally engineered gangways are available in 20′, 30′, 40′, 60′, and 80′ lengths. Standard widths are 3′, 4′, and 6′ wide but custom sizes are available at no extra cost. Structurally engineered and capable of single spanning great lengths, Alumadock gangways can be used with a wooden, steel, or aluminum dock. Alumadock gangways eliminate the dangerous spacing between floating dock modules because of a joint-less, solid floor. Aluminum handrails in either 36″ or 42″ heights provide handicap accessibility and eliminate the need for any flotation from the beginning of the gangway to the connection at the boat dock. Roto molded plastic wheels on a stainless steel axle are available to facilitate movement in and out due to water fluctuation.

PWC Ports

Floating jet ski lifts built for the biggest PWCs. Keep your jet ski dry all year round! We carry a wide variety of PWC ports and jet ski lifts.

PWC Ports

Floating jet ski lifts built for the biggest PWCs. Keep your jet ski dry all year around! We carry a wide variety of pwc ports and jet ski lifts. By keeping the whole watercraft dry, you prevent the algae and scum from accumulating and discoloring the bottom. This means a longer lifetime, and a high future value. Floating jet ski lifts are very affordable and easy to install. You significantly decrease the budget because you don’t need to build a structure to hang the lift on. It simply floats on the water, which is perfect for changing water levels. You can also pick from several anchoring options. Attach them to your existing fixed dock, or anchor them separately.

Our PWC ports are based on a modular system. That way you can attach more jet ski lifts together, or incorporate the floating lift in your existing modular system structure. On top of things, you do not need electricity to get your jet ski on and off the lift. Simply push off and drive on.
